I was doing my run this morning and listening to a song by Christian recording artist Phil Wickham called “This is the day”. Here is the chorus:

This is the day for a new beginning

I have always loved this song because it is about someone coming to faith in Christ and the rejoicing that occurs in heaven when someone believes.
Today is a new day for us as believers.
A new day to pray for someone who does not know Jesus Christ.
A new day to share the good news of the gospel with someone we know.
A new day to for God to draw someone to Jesus and for us to be there and encourage them in their new faith.
Perhaps today is the day that God will allow us to participate in someone’s story of redemption if we are open to His
Spirits leading.
Indeed, for someone, this may be the day life begins.
